We had been contemplating buying another home on the lake for the past few years. Christopher J. Edwards spent a lot of time with us, listening to our plans and some of the unique requirements we had in searching out a new residence.
He asked lots of questions, and provided us with an indepth view of current market conditions, recent comps, and generally what to expect in identifying, negotiating, and ultimately closing on a new purchase. We had identified several properties to consider, and in addition, he convinced us to take a look at one home that he believed would be a good fit.
Ultimately, that was the property we chose and Chris worked closely with us throughout the process. He helped negotiate price and conditions, as well as engage well respected professionals – attorney and structural inspector.
Throughout the process, he was very proactive, and always responded to our phone calls on a same-day basis, sometimes multiple times a day. He handled everything in the most professional manner, finally personally introducing us to the sellers, who have become good friends.
Our current next-door neighbor had also purchased their home from Chris, and we have long lost count of the many happy neighbors we have met around the lake who have bought or sold a house through Chris, and can’t say enough good things about him. He’s very straightforward, and always focused like a laser beam on getting things done in a timely manner for his clients.
Chris also handled the sale of a property of ours on the lake. He was quickly able to identify potential buyers, and we had a bid in hand in a matter of several weeks. Chris coordinated with legal counsel on our side, as well as the buyers’, and has been a true partner with us each step of the way.
